How Are Our Bottles Made?

After the initial sketches and industrial design for our reusable glass water bottles, it was time to make our molds and start blowing glass. We worked with noted glass blower Jonathan Poirer at Drayton Glassworks. Together with his brother Matt, Jonathan made several versions of our initial bottles. These first-run bottles showed us the beauty of the form.

BottlesUp bottles are currently produced in Mexico City through a “semi-automatic” process integrating hand-blown with manufactured techniques.
